There are currently 90 games on the list as of 2025. As of 2018, Spacewar! is the oldest on the list being released in 1962. As of 2019, Fortnite is the newest on the list being released in 2017. As of 2017, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has the shortest span from release to induction being released in March 2017, just 4 months prior to induction. As of 2018, Spacewar! has the longest induction span, being released in 1962, 56 years apart. 2015 has the most inductions with 16 games being inducted while 2025 has the least amount of inductions with only 3 games being inducted.
